Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif states that the accomplishment of relief funds offered by the government for the betterment of earthquake victims has begun.
While addressing to the affected people at Dasu in District Kohistan on Thursday, he expressed saying the federal and KP governments are offering six hundred thousand rupees each to those pinched due to earthquake. He said that one hundred thousand rupees are being distributed to each affected after the disaster.
PM reiterated that two hundred thousand rupees would be handed over to each of those whose houses have completely been damaged while one hundred thousand rupees to each of those came under partial devastation.
The premier also said that victimized people would be given all necessary relief stuff, which includes tents, blankets and food items.
He also made announcements saying relief items would be thrown from helicopters in the inaccessible parts. He expressed his condolence and sympathized with the grieved families.
On this occasion, the PM directed to provide tents, blankets, food items and medicines to the affected ones right away. He also said that massive machinery should also be provided in Kohistan area to open the roads that got blocked due to landsliding.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak announced empowering Deputy Commissioner to the Chief Minister having financial authorities in such crisis.
