Four people killed in Abbottabad violence between N-League and PTI workers

ABBOTTABAD: In a recent clash between the supporters of Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) at least four people have been killed and several others injured here on Tuesday evening.

Police sources told that the recent violence took place at Fawara Chowk when the supporters of both parties accused each other of rigging in the local bodies elections in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The accusing resulted in a clash between the two groups in which several people were badly injured and four died.

The injured were immediately admitted to the nearest hospital where the condition of some of the injured is reported to be critical according to the hospital sources.

Such type of incidents are taking place in several parts of the province after the local bodies elections as opposing parties are putting blames of rigging on PTI that they had done the same practice as done by N-League in the general elections 2013.
