Former MQM minister Raza Haroon join hands with Mustafa Kamal


KARACHI: Former Muthaida Qaumi Movement (MQM) stalwart and Federal Minister Raza Haroon joined hands with Mustafa Kamal on Monday.


While talking to media, Raza Haroon said that the purpose on which MQM was formed is lost. He further said, no one is conspiring against MQM, they are enough to harm them.


Mustafa Kamal welcomed Raza Haroon and also said that name of the party will be disclosed on March 23.

Raza Haroon joined MQM in 1987, he was remained member of provincial assembly on party’s ticket and also held portfolio of IT minister. From almost two years, Haroon had distanced himself party and remained inactive during the time.



After, on March 3, sudden come back  of once MQM’s poster boy and Karachi Mayor Mustafa Kamal and announcement of forming political party. Many MQM party members and workers have allied with Kamal, including two seating member of provincial assembly, Dr.Sagheer Ahmad and Iftikhar Alam.

Party has not revealed his ideology, manifesto and even the name, however, it is expected that soon  it will be announced.

Notable who gave joined Mustafa Kamal so far:

Anees Qaimkhani, Dr Sagheer Ahmad, Waseem Aftab, Iftikhar Alam and Raza Haroon.
