ISLAMABAD: Asif Nazar alias DJ Butt managed to approve pre-arrest in loudspeaker ban violation case after appearing before the court on Monday, private media reported.
Earlier, on last Friday, magistrate Waqas Rasheed had issued non-bailable arrest warrant of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) sound master for not appearing before the court in case registered against DJ Butt for violation of Amplifier Act and Article 144.
Today, the court granted pre-arrest bail to DJ Butt until September 3 and directed to submit a security bond of Rs 100,000 for his release. Court was adjourned until September 3.
Both cases has been registered against Butt at the Secretatiat Police Station in Islamabad last year during Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf 126 days long sit-ins.
After non-bailabe warrant against , DJ Butt uploaded 1 minute clip on his Facebook page, saying , this was case registered against me during sit-ins due to my dedicated work for PTI and Imran Khan. On the night of last year 11 September, police took me from rest house and kept me in cells for two days, then presented me in front of the court. He further added, after case during the whole year, I didn’t received any notice from the court, but now through TV channel I get to know that my non-bailable arrest warrant has been issued, and I received the call from officials that I have to appear in the court of Waqar Rasheed, I will appear Insha Allah.
