The resolution was expounded by Balochistan Home Minister Sarfaraz Ahmad Bugti and got favours from both government and political parties. The resolution denounced Altaf Hussain’s speech delivered against the Pakistan Army.

Addressing to his activists gathered at Nine-Zero, Altaf on Friday morning censured the army. Taking immediate react, the army took serious notice, followed by leading government officials, ministers and even members of the opposition.

DG ISPR Major General Asim Bajwa had termed Altaf’s remarks uncalled for the irresponsible. In a tweet, he termed MQM chief’s speech ‘disgusting,’ stating that reference to the army or its leadership while reacting to arrest of crooks with suspected links to political parties will not be put up with.
