Attack on ARY News’ Islamabad office, Daesh Afghanistan claimed


ISLAMABAD: On Wednesday, ARY News Islamabad office came under attack, Daesh Afghanistan claimed responsibility, Ary news reported.


Unidentified  attackers hurled Ary New office and fired shots and threw hand grande, due to security guards retaliation  attackers ran away, one  employ of channel  got injured during attack.

Attackers left pamphlets which said, the attack was carried out in reaction of the coverage of operation Zarb-e-Azb.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif took notice of the attack and directed the Inspector General of Police and Deputy Commissioner Islamabad to reach ARY office and ensure the security of the office.

After the attack Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan visited  ARY News office to express solidarity with Media house.  Minister for Information Pervaiz Rasheed and MQM MNA Rasheed Godil also arrived at ARY offices to show support.
