Karachi: Qamar Mansoor, senior MQM leader as well the member of the party’s Rabita Committee is handed over to Rangers on a 90 days remand by the Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) on Wednesday.
On the request of Rangers, ATC handed over Qamar Mansoor for 90-day remand to Rangers. Rangers had to investigate into cases relating to hate speeches against him.
Mansoor in the court said he was suffering from back pain for the last 17 years and required medication. The court also demanded the medical report of Qamar from the Rangers and asked to present it before the court by July 27.
Earlier on Monday Mansoor was sent into Rangers custody on transit remand.
Qamar Mansoor has the charges of “arraigning and facilitating’ hate speeches against the people of Karachi. He was arrested by the Rangers along with fellow Rabita Committee member Kaiful Wara in a pre-dawn raid on the party’s Nine Zero Headquarters last week.
