Altaf Hussain vows to file petition against Imran Khan

KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain strongly condemned the allegations made by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan that he posted in a private TV channel’s interview. He asked Imran to provide evidence else he vowed to file petition against his allegations after consulting his legal experts.

In an interview, MQM chief revised the statement made by Imran Khan to a TV channel that when he was on election campaign of NA-246 then people of area thanked him and told him that first MQM’s workers came to collect extortion money but it was the first time when they came to ask for votes. On his statement, Altaf remarked that without any concrete evidence causing allegations on someone is liked to damage his reputation.

Altaf Hussain challenged that if Imran considered that he is really a clean heart man then he should come on TV and tell the true story of Sita White and tell the people of Tyrian is his daughter or not else we would file the petition after consulting with our legal experts.

He said that the second allegation made by Imran Khan was that the police officers who participated in the operation by Naseerullah Babr, were all killed. Altaf Hussain suggested Imran Khan if he is true on his point than why he didn’t go to the court to prove his baseless allegations? Khan alleged on us that MQM killed people for its negative purpose that was absolutely baseless. If it would have been true, who cast hundred thousand votes for MQM.

Altaf Hussain said Imran Khan should apologize to the nation for making baseless allegations on MQM.
