The first priest to be judged – Mullakkal is the first priest to be tried in India, in this case by the Southern Kerala court which delivered a one-line verdict stating that he was not guilty.
Complaint 2018 – For her part, the nun said that she repeatedly turned to the church and eventually decided to turn to the police because her complaints were always ignored.
