Sachin Tendulkar took to Twitter to celebrate Friendship Day on Sunday. The batting legend shared a cricket analogy to clarify what friendship suggests to him. “Friendships are like floodlights on a cricket area. They take pleasure in your achievement from the corner. But if they realise the sun’s likely down on you, they light-weight on their own up to give brightness all around you. For me, day-to-day is #FriendshipDay,” Sachin Tendulkar said alongside with a childhood picture of him playing with his friends.

The Indian Leading League (IPL) franchise Chennai Super Kings (CSK) also extended Friendship Day greetings to their followers with a movie on Twitter.

A working day prior to friendship working day, Workforce India vice-captain Rohit Sharma on Sunday answered fans’ queries on Twitter.

“Let’s celebrate Friendship Day alongside one another guys Ship me your questions employing #AskRo and I will respond to as lots of as I can tomorrow,” Rohit tweeted alongside with a video clip.

Cricket in India is now at a standstill thanks to the coronavirus pandemic. But the 13th edition of the IPL, is anticipated to be performed from September 19 to November 8 in the UAE.

The IPL Governing Council will reportedly meet up with on Sunday to finalise the program and other key arrangements for the tournament.

“We are having the governing council meeting on 2nd of August and important issues linked to the league will be discussed in this assembly,” a BCCI supply instructed ANI.


This year’s IPL was slated to commence from March 29 but the tournament was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
