ABU DHABI, June 9, 2022 (WAM) – Etihad Airways received the Apex Passenger Choice Awards 2022 at an awards ceremony held in Dublin, Ireland, on Wednesday.
The national carrier of the United Arab Emirates has won the 2022 Passenger Choice Award for Best Entertainment in the Middle East.
At Etihad’s E-BOX entertainment offering, guests will find over 200 movies, over 350 TV shows, 15 radio channels, and 800 albums in a variety of genres and languages.
Video and audio content is integrated with a variety of games and seven live TV channels showing international news and sports channels.
On board the all-new A350, the latest features include business-class wireless charging and paired Bluetooth speakers throughout the aircraft. New flight map technology also offers a fun and interactive mode for kids, where young travelers can explore the world with their animatronic dinosaur friends.
APEX has again partnered with Concur’s TripIt, the world’s most popular travel organization app, to collect anonymous passenger feedback based on third-party neutral reviews and opinions of Travelers for Honor. For the 2022 awards, nearly one million flights were rated by passengers from over 600 airlines around the world using a five-star scale.
