Metacritic publish year-end reports, and being an aggregate of votes by critics and users, it is also interesting to note the ranking The 10 worst games of 2021which shows how eFootball 2022, especially in regards to the PC version, both of which are considered the worst out there.
So let’s see Metacritic’s “10 Worst”, or the ranking of the worst games of 2021 in relation to Average critic ratings, in descending order meaning that first place corresponds to the game with the lowest metascore, and therefore the worst of all, with a vote growing towards tenth place, and thus representing “the least the worst”:

- Werewolf: Apocalypse (PS4) – 42
- Chaos Taxi (PS4) – 42
- Of Bird and Cage (PC) – 44
- GTA The Trilogy: Ultimate Edition (Switch) – 47
- Saw Black Clouds (PS4) – 48
- Arkham Horror: Mother’s Embrace (PC) – 48
- Demon Skin (PC) – 48
- Necromonda: Hired Guns (PS4) – 49
EFootball 2022 has been talked about for a long time and buried above all its technical problems and flaws in terms of content and structure, even compared to the series’ coat of arms, in a position very similar to that of GTA The Trilogy: Definitive Edition.
For the rest, the other titles are certainly less well known and exciting, but some of these titles still represent notable cases, like Balan Wonderworld, which was supposed to lead to the relaunch of Yuji Naka, the creator of Sonic.
