Two new dealerships in Australia have been added to Ducati’s global expansion strategy. With the opening of Sydney and Melbourne stores, the home of Borgo Panigale marks two new steps after the establishment of the Ducati Australia and New Zealand branch in 2020. The two important investments follow the development and positive growth of the Italian motorcycle manufacturer in the country with the brand recording in 2021 a 50% increase in sales compared to the year Previous.
Ducati Sydney and Ducati Melbourne West are the new reference points for Australian motorcyclists and enthusiasts, historically linked with the Italian motorcycle maker also to the origin of some of Ducati’s greatest champions such as Casey Stoner, Troy Bayliss and Troy Corser. Both new openings are based on already established local companies, such as Preston Motor Group, in Melbourne, which is one of Australia’s historic car dealers. In Sydney, Ducati has partnered with the Autosports Group, with more than 50 points of sale nationwide and a host of prestigious car brands including Audi, Lamborghini and Bentley.
The two dealership showrooms contain ample space dedicated to the entire Ducati and Scrambler range, along with an area dedicated to the Ducati Apparel range and Ducati Performance accessories. Alternatively, a staff of qualified technicians trained directly at Borgo Panigale in our state-of-the-art workshops is available to assist with after-sales and repairs. Ducati Melbourne West and Ducati Sydney join the global sales network of the motorcycle manufacturer, which already in 2022 saw the opening of more than 15 new dealerships and has 795 dealers in more than 90 countries.
