Two travellers on a Delta Airlines flight from Detroit to Atlanta previous week refused to dress in masks, forcing the aircraft to return to the gate, a Delta spokesperson claimed.

Flight 1227 returned to the gate at Detroit Metro Airport on July 23 because the two “were non-compliant with crew guidelines,” WXYZ documented.

The airplane inevitably still left for Atlanta immediately after a limited hold off. It’s unclear if the pair ended up banned from the airline for refusing to put on masks.

Delta’s COVID-era insurance policies are amid the most stringent between US-centered airlines.

Past month, the airline announced that it will involve medical screenings for travellers who just can’t use facial area masks owing to wellbeing fears.

Delta also insists on pre-departure clinical screenings alongside with its COVID-period general public health protocols.
