Bar, restaurant, playground and gym: potential restrictions for non-vaccinators

Government and territories are evaluating bans and restrictions on non-vaccinators to avoid traffic-related closures in the yellow, orange and red zone. The proposal divides the majority and even the heads of the provinces are not pressured. But technically, how can this closure be activated? Restricting the unvaccinated would have obvious constitutional problems.

Vaccination is not compulsory in Italy, so it is not possible. Or at least it would be very complicated Interfering with personal liberties on the basis of free choice, i.e. whether to vaccinate against Covid or not. If vaccination was mandatory, the situation would be different, but this is not the case.

Hence the idea came Green Pass 2G. This is the German model that states that the green certificate is issued only after vaccination or after recovery from Covid. In other words, there is no green aisle with the tampon.

Restrictions on non-vaccinators

If the Super Green Pass line passes, which according to Minister Brunetta could take effect as early as December, the unvaccinated would not be able to go to the stadium, they could not go to the cinema or the gym, and they could not go to a restaurant if they wanted to eat Inside.

In fact, they will be almost completely excluded from social life. According to popular hypotheses, restrictions should affect only social life. So essential services and the world of work should be excluded from this pressure.

Social tensions worry

Pressure of this magnitude could inflame social tensions and give new energy to the demonstrations against the Green Corridor and against the government. This is clearly an element to take into account when analyzing the proposal.
