Following 2-0 defeat against NZ, Pakistan pushed back on 4th position at ICC Test Ranking

Around a month ago, Pakistan topped the ICC Test Ranking and was also presented Test Mace at an official ceremony in Pakistan. Now following 2-0 defeat in 2-match Test series against New Zealand, Pakistan has fall back to 4th position at ICC Test Ranking.

Pakistan has equal points to the South Africa on the 5th position at the points table but a decimal difference have gained them the 4th spot.

Prior to the New Zealand series, Pakistan were on the 2nd opposition following India with 109 points but now they have fallen on the 4th rank after marginable 2-0 defeat against the hosts.

On the other hand, India has got strong grip on the 1st position and no change on it seemed anytime sooner as after declining to the 2nd position last month, they recoiled back strongly and earned 3-0 win against New Zealand and now got 2-0 dominance against England in the 5-match Test series.
